For this blog post I decided to choose the movie Now You See Me 2 and the scene of the "hidden card". Each shots related to the next because it is showing the “journey” of the card through each of the magicians. The scenes seem to be in accordance with continuity editing protocols because it tells a story with the motion of the camera. I started to the scene at 0:10 because it has an interesting 360 of Dave Franco and how he strategically maneuvered the playing card secretly from the guard. The scene is actually primarily seems to be in the point of view of the card and how the card is passed down to each magician. The shots are organized in sequence of each magician and his/her move to bypass the card from the security. There is also some shots of the magicians looking among each other which gives he audience the sense of urgency and shows how crucial each move is. There is also shots of the magicians looking at the “boss” which cuts in between the moves so that the audience understands that each love made is being watched. In particular my favorite shot is when the camera moves with the card and how it goes from one person to the next. There was a bunch of medium shots that gave the scene somewhat of closeness which also shows how tense or how risky this whole card movement is.
